I don't know if it's possible yet to send an invitation to a game (we were playing in the same region and whenever one of us created a game it appeared for the others automatically), so this needs a bit more work. Multiplayer is pretty stable and a lot of fun, played 1vs1 and 2vs 2 games with some friends without any issues.

Unfortunately, there's currently only 4 maps for skirmish and multiplayer. There's also an 4vs4 skirmish mode with the AI, and a 4vs4 multiplayer.

With one extra challenge for each campaign and three doctrines to choose from that affect the units you have and the way you play, there's definitely some replayability in the campaign. The campaign is 21 missions long spanning the Axis, Allies, and Soviets major battles. Performance-wise it ran pretty well on PS4 pro, with barely any-frame drops even in 4vs4 skirmishes and high number of units on the screen, but I've heard that other people ran into some frame-drops on the base PS4. It might need time and skill to get used to the controls, and don't expect it to be as smooth as using a mouse and keyboard, but it's definitely one of the best control schemes in a console RTS (or RTT) at the moment.

The controls of Sudden Strike on PS4 are easy, straight-forward and allow for quick response and action. Happy to say, however, that this isn't the case with Sudden Strike 4. Real-Time tactics and strategy games on console are few and far in between, and the few that are available often suffer from cumbersome or frustrating controls.
